Fueled by the rapid growth of companies like Twitter and Zynga, along with employee shuttles run by companies like Google and Yahoo, San Francisco’s population of computer workers has boomed in the past four years, a Mercury News analysis shows, with the city adding more resident computer workers even than much larger Santa Clara County, the heart of Silicon Valley.
